Day 5 of extreme head cold invasion.
That about sums it up. I missed a lot of work this week, but really, who wants to be around a red flaky nosed, stuffy head, who can sneeze and cough with out warning every minute or so?
Thank goodness the 3rd season of Lost made it into my little hands. And blogs. I read a bunch of posts. Commented on none. I blame the sickness.
No sewing to speak of. Oh, except I did fix the fitted sheet for our bed that ripped in the corner.
I did clean up my environment today in hopes it would make me feel better. That just made me very tired. Robitussin made me feel better.
I have been drinking my fluids, but so far the only noticeable difference is increased snot production.
This cold better not stick around much longer. Normally, I rebound a lot sooner than this.
Maybe a post worth reading will happen this weekend. Maybe.
Hope you feel better soon! : )
ReplyDeleteI got the flu for the first time in my life this year and it knocked me on my ass for two weeks. The third week has been coughing. Next week, week four, my mother-in-law says I should expect to be coughing as well (she heard it on the news). I hope you didn't get the flu, too. :)
ReplyDeletePlease vote for me! Would the bribe of a sweet swap package en route inspire you? hee hee
ReplyDeleteMark and N. have been sick with colds and flu, but so far I've avoided it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, LeeAnn!
♥
Oh no. I hope hope you get well soon!
ReplyDeleteRest, fluids, get well.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. There's a lot of this going around it seems.
ReplyDeleteRest and drink a lot (of water and tea I mean).
I've got it too. After a hot sauna, and two days of homemade chicken noodle soup, (tylenol p.m. for the benadryl and good night's sleep) I think it's getting better. Hope you are too.
