Lunch

I have had the opportunity for so many months to be completely creative with most of my thoughts, that it has been quite a switch these past two days as I read scientific metabolic processes in 8 hour stretches. So what's a girl to do?

Create a great lunch for increased brain power.

Grilled peanut butter and jelly (homemade strawberry) with bananas! Paired with a chilled glass of 1% milk. I just found 2 of those glasses at the thrift store. It's hard to make out the white tree design, but I was inspired by the image and had to get them.

At night, when I put my books away I have been working on a new pattern. I started using muslin instead of immediately cutting into my dwindling linen supply. It was a smart decision on my part because I am now on version 2.2. My original idea turned out bogus, but something better emerged (and is still emerging).

  1. Ooh, I remember grilled banana sandwiches from when I was a child. My mom would make them as an afternoon snack.
    Good luck with the pattern.

  2. That sandwich looks delicious.

And here's to keeping a muslin stash at all times - I use it constantly for "mock-ups". : )

  4. I haven't had peanut butter in months, darn Weight Watchers! Looks soooo good. mmmm
I too have decided to make muslin patterns lately. What's the old saying? Measure twice, cut once? Kinda the same thing.
